Don’t let the title fool you! This is a post about respect and appreciation of the Mom’s and other dedicated dads out that do take care of the kids and house for their better halves!

My wife is an amazing woman, the fact that she raised Daniel on her own for the first several years amazes me! Without her, there is no way that I would be able to raise our Charlie.

An Office Visit before the Pandemic

Michelle and I decided early on, that I would be the stay at home parent. This decision was made well before a global pandemic took over our lives. We have been together at the house since March 13th, however Michelle has continued to work a full-time job remotely, and I have focused primarily on taking care of Charlie and other household duties.

Taking care of Charlie has been an absolute joy, however trying to manage him, and the chores is nearly impossible. It blows me away that Michelle was able to take care of these things by herself, and my hat is off to her!

While I know that having a committed partner in your life is not a requirement for raising a child, it sure helps! I love my wife to the moon and back and am eternally impressed and grateful for all that she does.
